About

I am an Assistant Professor at Lehigh University's Department of Industrial Systems and Engineering (ISE). Previously, I was a Presidential and Dean Postdoctoral Fellow at Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University. I hold a Ph.D. in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan, M.S. in Systems Science and Industrial Engineering from Binghamton University, and B.S.E in Biomedical Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology.

My methodological research expertise and interests include scheduling theory and algorithms development, optimization under uncertainty, and (mixed) integer programming. My primary application areas and expertise are in healthcare operations and analytics. I am also interested in operations research applications to service and transportation systems and facility locations.
